On all 4th Advent weekends, the Christmas market at Glücksburg Castle offers a unique Christmas romance and transports young and old into a very special fairytale world.
The mixture of colourful market hustle and bustle and highlights planned down to the smallest detail make the Märchenweihnacht an incomparable experience.
A variety of events and offers make the Busuch a unique experience in the run-up to Christmas.
The Christmas post office, a crispy castle competition, life-size storybooks, storytellers in the castle’s registry office, artists, a romantic light park and our artisans as well as Christmas concerts in the castle chapel make the Märchenweihnacht what it is – one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany.
There are many special offers for children and families at our Christmas market.
Santa Claus comes to the castle courtyard and hands out presents to the children. There is a Christmas post office, a children’s carousel and various other attractions

The entrance fee for the Christmas market includes the castle entrance fee and all attractions at the market, such as light part, concerts, etc.
